Volunteer

Annually, there are some 600 volunteers on-site, providing around 5,000 hours of service.  Volunteers make our work possible and bring hope to the Haven's residents and staff.

These are the latest volunteer needs at the Haven:

• Prepare/serve meals
• Coordinate activities for shelter residents such as bingo, crafts or nail polish nights
• Donate or consign clothes at Ambiance
• Assist with general office work
• Get involved with our Special Events Committee
• Help with a car wash (a great way for students to help!)
• Assist with Project Employ, our job training program, by helping participants in the computer lab or coaching them on specific job skills.
